extreme cashmere

Meet extreme cashmere - a Dutch brand founded by Saskia Dijkstra and Camille Serra. Dijkstra is a cashmere expert and has been working for more than 18 years with cashmere. Until recently, she worked for a major cashmere supplier in Hong Kong who delivered cashmere to Joseph, Jil Sander and Galeries Lafayette. Serra is a former designer of Joseph and Maison Martin Margiela. The collection from extreme cashmere consists of pure cashmere styles and luxurious silk pieces - think of a perfect masculine V-neck pullover, a trendy off-shoulder sweater, a high-fashion loose-fit knitted dress and luxurious silk shorts. The showstopper? A gorgeous long silk dress - perfect to wear solo or layered under a cashmere pullover.

The philosophy of the brand is to bring a pullover that everyone wants to wear - in a perfect fit for any occasion. Cashmere is a natural fiber that's subject to pilling. That's why extreme cashmere x has made a care and wear instruction - to enjoy your favorite cashmere styles for years to come. With every extreme cashmere x purchase, you'll receive a flyer with a care and wear advice. And you'll receive a sweater comb to remove pilling. 

Want to know about extreme cashmere's care and wear advice? Learn more below:  

  • - Dry clean the cashmere style ór 
  • - Use a wool wash program on 30°C and 600 washing machine cycles 
  • - Use delicate detergent or baby shampoo 
  • - Put a maximum of 2 or 3 items in the washing machine 
  • - Wash the cashmere styles in a wash bag or pillow case 
  • - Dry flat on a thick bath towel, turn after a few hours 
  • - Remove pilling that remains with the sweater comb 
  • - Iron on a low temperature, put a thin cotton cloth between the ironing machine and the cashmere piece 
  • - Fold your cashmere item, don't hang it on a hanger 
  • - Wear your cashmere item one day and let it rest for two days
