This is how you protect your face from damaging rays from the wonderful sun.

The sun on your face feels great! But it makes good suncare a necessity. If you want to protect your delicate facial skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays to prevent wrinkles and other forms of skin damage, that is. We’re starting off with a tip: don’t use sunscreen for the body on your face; body sun protection is too rich and heavy for the delicate skin of your face. It will clog-up your pores which can cause break-outs. Only use formulas that are developed especially for your face. Maximize skin protection by choosing your favorite method to add to your routine. Quickly read on to learn more!
Mineral or Classic filter?
Do you know the difference between a mineral or classic filter? A mineral filter is the most natural filter; the residue doesn’t pollute oceans and sea life and this type of filter is designed to break down and reflect UVA/UVB rays. Extra plus? A mineral filter immediately protects after application. Mineral filters have a bad reputation of leaving white residue on the skin, but they’ve undergone lots of improvement by now. A classic filter is developed to absorb UVA/UVB rays, should be applies at least 30 minutes before sun exposure and are made artificially.

1. Before applying makeup
Facial sun protection, with or without BB-formula, are perfect to start your daily routine with. And most products don’t only protect but also nourish and care. Think of added antioxidants, minerals and vitamins for optimal nourishment and hydration all day long.
2. After applying makeup
Extra facial protection when your makeup looks perfect, is done with a handy SPF setting spray. A nice bonus, is that your makeup stays looking great all day long and the sprays also offer a cooling, refreshing, hydrating and softening effect on the skin. It’s not a full replacement for an SPF sun cream, so you should see it as an extra during the day. Don’t forget to give your skin extra nourishment with aftersun to optimalize moisture levels.
 3. Protection from sun and much more
Yes, we’ll have to surrender to this fact: it’s not only the rays from the sun that damage our skin, rays from screens that surround is all day long also have a damaging effect. Thank goodness for multifunctional creams that protect us from all of it. We like this kind of efficiency.
