The Paris born Paul & Joe Sister designer Sophie Albou started the more affordable sister line in 2006. After graduating from the Institut Francais de la Mode, she started working for Azzedine Alaina. In 1995 she designed her first menswear collection and named it after her two sons: Paul & Joe. In 1996 she added her first womenswear collection to the brand. The first retro-inspired collection of Paul & Joes Sister in 2006 was hit right from the start because of the already existing fan base of the main line. As a sister of the main line they complement each other while retaining their own distinctive style. The punchy prints and fashion-forward outerwear make this collection a must-see for chic and urban sophisticates.
